Synopsis

Set in post-Independence Secunderabad, The Paradise follows Jadal, a young man raised in a community that has been pushed to the margins and forced to live under the control of Malik. Poverty, humiliation and the denial of basic dignity define the lives of the people around him, while Jadal gradually becomes a figure through whom the community hopes to challenge the system that has kept them powerless.--
